Helvetica was originated in Munchenstein Switzerland.

Helvetica means switzerland.

Helvetica was created in 1957.

Modern

Modern, Grunge and post modern

This film showed me that to have a good design it doesn't have to be crazy and over the edge.A nice sleek simple design can work just as good and if not better in some design situation.

"It's The Real Thing. Period. Coke. Period. Any Questions? Of Course Not."- Michael Bierut.   To me this quote kind of defines helvetica because it is so simple and straight to the point.

                   TYPOGRAPHY BRUH

Serif has little accents to add emphasis on parts of letters whereas sans serif is very blocky and clear cut.

Serif works very well for small typing whereas san serif is more commonly used for titles and headers.

!!WARNING!!:To many fonts in a design can spoil the effect

fonts that are to alike tend to cause ambiguity.

All caps are the equivalent of shouting and makes things harder to read.

Left alignment reads easiest, consider eye flow as it moves down a page.

Tools used with discretion
Italics, bold, size, color, typestyle change.

When making something visually pleasing balance is key.

KERN: stupid lil space in between letters

Tracking: different to kerning because it has to do with the entire word. Don't go to far or it could kind of bunch all the words together taking a hit on eligibility.
